| What is RSS? |
| (Really Simple Syndication) is a method of receiving updates and news regarding your chosen web sites. Once you have set up a connection to a web site you will receive a list of news or updates automatically from that site. |
 |
| How can I receive RSS feeds? |
| To start using RSS, you need a special news reader or aggregator that displays RSS content feeds from web sites you select. There are many different news readers available, many of which are free of charge. Most are available as desktop software that you download and install on your computer. Several web-based news readers are available as well. |
 |
| Where can I download or get an RSS reader? |
| Many web browsers can display RSS feeds. Free or inexpensive readers are available, and web sites such as Google and Yahoo! offer RSS features. We have provided links to free web-based readers above. Alternatively, some newer web browsers offer similar functionality already built-in which will detect whether the website you are viewing offers an RSS feed and will then let you create a constantly-updated list of links in your 'bookmarks' menu. |
